PPPDROPPER v0.01

PPPDropper was designed for the following situations -

You have a group of people using a UNIX box as their internal
email server, as well as allowing them to send/recv external
email at periotic intervals via dialup.

Users also at times wish to [manually] get onto the internet
	for doing various things.

The problem often faced -

It is the -mix- of these two [email and surfing by request] that
seem to have defeated me for eons.

Your DNS setup never seems to go right, when combined with Sendmail
and all of a sudden you're finding that your box is dialing out
every 5 minutes or when ever a user sends an email, even internal
	ones.

The solution to be used -

pppdropper can be inserted into the ip-up script so that it is
activated as soon as the ppp line comes up [for either email or
surfing]. pppdropper will disconnect the line if the number of
inbound and outbound packets drop below their respective thresholds
